Who We Are at Bistro @ Blooms

BladeWorks Landscaping started in 1992. This endeavor began providing commercial and residential property care:  landscaping, lawn services, tree care, snow removal, and commercial holiday lighting. Over the years, our landscaping business grew and we began to see the need to open our own retail garden center to better serve our clients. Blooms Garden Center and Gift Shop opened in 2017. The garden center began carrying annuals, vegetables, herbs, perennials, grasses, shrubs, evergreens and trees. The Gift Shop is filled with unique gifts, handmade goods, houseplants and home and garden décor. Because of the support of our awesome and loyal community, a new idea sprouted. Incoming: Bistro @ Blooms.

We began brainstorming and finally started making renovations, with the hopes to be open to the public in the Spring of '23. We did just that. Upon opening our doors in the Spring of '23, we set about on our mission/goal: to be a destination.

With the decision to make this a destination, we knew we'd need to extend our family with people that put a lot of heart, soul and love into creating our menu. We did, and are proud to say that our team has been just as passionate in making what was once a simple idea, into an incredible reality.

We make all of our own breads and pastries, cakes, pies, and fillings from scratch. We take and make special orders for pick up daily. Our meats are hand picked and sausage mixed and made daily in-house.  Iowa Coffee Roasters blends our coffees weekly. Our handcrafted beverages and smoothies are made with the finest ingredients and created by our baristas to order. Try our monthly specialty drinks!
